Step 1: Initial Enquiry

• Your level of study (UG / Master’s)

• Your subject area

• Your word count

• Your deadline

• The type of support you’re looking for

I’ll respond to confirm availability, suggest the most appropriate package, and outline next steps.

Step 3: Developmental Academic Feedback

If you choose a developmental package, I will:

• Read your draft in full

• Analyse how effectively you meet the marking criteria

• Identify strengths and areas for development

• Highlight where deeper critical analysis, with advice on how to implement this

•  Determine what restructuring is needed to improve clarity, and suggest how to achieve this

• Provide clear written notes

• Deliver an online consultation to explain feedback and next steps

You remain responsible for revising your own work. The focus is on strengthening your thinking, structure, and academic argument.

This stage is best completed well before your deadline (2-3 weeks), so you have time to implement changes.

Step 5: Final Proofreading

Close to submission, you may choose to book final proofreading.

This stage focuses only on:

• Grammar, spelling, and punctuation

• Sentence clarity (without changing meaning)

• Consistency in formatting and referencing

Little new content is added, and few structural changes are made at this stage. We have an online consultation to explain the feedback, and how you can improve your final draft. An annotated draft and, where appropriate, written notes are emailed back to you.

Payment & Booking

For larger packages, payment is typically split between stages for peace of mind.

Once dates are agreed, your consultation is confirmed and the review process begins.
